INTRODUCTION - This summer at Unity we're taking a breath. Slowing down. Getting quiet. Going within to reflect on where we are in our life's journey. What if we each came to this earthly experience for a reason? Wouldn't you like to be sure that before you leave, you've given some time to fulfilling that purpose? During the summer months, we'll be exploring ways to become more conscious of what Spirit is calling us to do with our life. You're invited to spend a few minutes in the quiet every day, pondering the main Reflection Question (see below). Then to deepen your exploration, check back here weekly for additional questions that follow the theme of each Sunday's message.
You'll also have a chance to discuss these themes in a group setting with Rev. Kitty a couple times during the summer and participate in an outdoor Labyrinth Walk (Click here for more info). For more support resources, check out our Suggested Reading.
REFLECTION QUESTION
I pause in this moment,
enfolded in Love and guided by Wisdom,
to receive my Divine Direction.
In this season of life's journey,
where do I best give my attention?
Where do I put my energy
to fulfull my purpose
and lead to my highest good?

- When I think about my childhood, is there something I needed that I didn't get that would make me feel more loved, safe, accepted? (Look for negative patterns in your life or what you resist as clues.)
- Am I blaming someone else for that unmet need?
- Am I still looking to have that need met?
- Where am I looking?
- Now that I am an adult, who is responsible for filling that need in me?
- Who is my true source of good?
In order to align ourselves with the universal principles of abundance, we must put God first in all things. God is the source of all good and the underlying cause of all manifest reality. By keeping God at the center of our choices, our actions, our relationships and even our finances we send a message of faith and connection to the universe.
We place God first with GUIDANCE, GRATITUDE & GIVING.
THE BUMBLEBEE PRINCIPLE
Throughout recorded history individuals have done things that were previously considered impossible when viewed through the lens of human limitations. The truth is that God and the universe are limitless and all things are absolutely possible. In order to demonstrate abundance in magnificent and unexpected ways, we must open minds to the field of all possibility and believe in everyday miracles.
THE UNIVERSE LISTENS
Our manifest reality is a direct result of our thoughts and our beliefs. We are made in the image and likeness of God and as such have creative abilities. The universe functions in accordance with irrefutable laws. When we persistently hold a thought, it sends a vibration into the universe and a matching experience will return into our lives. If we desire abundance, we must ensure that our whole being vibrates at the frequency of abundance and the universe will always respond.
LIGHTEN YOUR LOAD
During our early childhood, as a result of our experiences and what we were told, we established beliefs about who we are and how the world works. Some of these beliefs are erroneous, false ideas and holding these ideas blocks the flow of abundance into our lives. In order to truly open up to the limitless flow of good, we must discover any limiting core beliefs we are holding and replace them with powerful spiritual truths. We must let go of all ideas that no longer serve our highest good
GIVE UP HOPE
An essential element to abundance is forgiveness. When we hold on to resentment and anger and refuse to forgive we are sending a strong negative message to the universe. Forgiveness frees us from the bondage of that negativity and re-opens the mighty flow of good. Withholding forgiveness creates great discord in our being and keeps us locked in the past. When we forgive, we anchor into the now moment and create a space for abundance to flow.
THE MIGHTIEST MAGNET
The power of love is a phenomenal universal force. It is one of the highest emotional vibrations. If you open your heart and allow love to flow out from you to every person and circumstance, the love vibration you emit will draw to you unimaginable good. Love is the great magnetizer and feeling and sharing love turns you into a mighty magnet that will attract into your life all that you could ever need, want or desire.
EVERYDAY NAMASTE
Each and every person on the planet is a living expression of the magnificence of God. Everyone has at their essence a core of perfect divinity. In order to truly manifest and experience abundance at the highest level, we must live each day knowing that we are God in expression and that every person we meet is God in expression. When we realize this truth, we seek to love, to give, to honor and to serve. That energy will always attract mighty good into our lives and into the world.
