at The Healing Place – 513 W. 87th St. (at Modaff) Naperville
Join Rev. Kitty for this 5-week class as we explore how to
make way for the Divine to express more fully in our lives.
“I see the ‘seven last words of Jesus’ as the Seven Living Words. They are for anyone who is ready to move away from seeing themselves as someone who is merely human, flawed, or sinful – for anyone who wants to move away from being not enough - into the Truth that every one of us is a perfect and complete expression of God. The same way these “words” carried Jesus from his physical body into his eternal light body, these words can be used by you to carry you into your next expansion of consciousness. Whether you are experiencing a true spiritual awakening within yourself or are simply moving through a time in life where you are being called to release the old so that the new can be born, these words and the exercises I have created will carry you and support you through the surrender process that Life is calling you to.” - Mark Anthony Lord, author of The Seven Living Words.
Sugg. Offering $10 per class. Book available at class or Sunday Services $12.
Advanced registration is helpful. Email Rev. Kitty or call 630-718-1318.
Choosing membership in Unity in Naperville is an outward sign of an inward commitment…one that is dedicated to your own spiritual growth as well as to supporting the mission and vision of our spiritual community. Membership is never a requirement for attending Unity. However, if you would like to acknowledge the importance of your spiritual life and consider Unity your spiritual home, membership may be your next step.
In order to become a member, attendance at one 3-hour membership class will be required. During this class we will explore Unity’s basic spiritual principles, the history of the Unity movement and our own church, the mission and vision of our spiritual community, and other important elements of Unity in Naperville. Even if you’re not interested in membership at this time, you are welcome to join us to learn more about Unity.
At the end of the class, you will have an opportunity to commit to membership if you so choose, by completing a membership application. We then hold a short ceremony during the Sunday service to welcome you officially as a member.
MEMBERSHIP CLASSES are held 2-3 times per year.
Our next class is being offered twice on the following dates:
Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 12 noon
- OR - Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 9:30am
Remember, you may attend the classes without seeking membership, so if you have been wanting to learn more about Unity in Naperville, feel free to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy getting to know one another as well. Membership is required to vote during business meetings and to serve on the Board of Trustees.
